Home Health Care Physical Therapist

Seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a very flexible position in home health care- you make your own schedule as far as when you start and end. In addition, we will entertain full-time or part-time Physical Therapists for this position. Please only apply if you can do a minimum of 24 hours. The pay and benefits for this Physical Therapy position are very generous. This Physical Therapist (PT) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients. Home care experience is not required, however the Physical Therapist must have at least a year of experience in any setting (In other words must have had your license for at least one year). This Physical Therapy position is with a homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. The Physical Therapist will be paid $35 to $45 per hour depending on experience (average PT is hired for 39/hr) plus will receive over 50 cents per mile for every mile driven, which is far more than is spent on driving a mile, so this can add up to a small paycheck in and of itself. For this high paying job plus paid mileage and benefits, the Physical Therapist is expected to cover the following counties: Burke, Bulloch, Candler, Emanuel, Jenkins, and Screven counties. However these counties can be split up throughout the week so that the therapist is covering only some counties each day. The Physical Therapist must have a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. The Physical Therapist must have a license to practice Physical Therapy in the state.
