Home Health Physical Therapist
Seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for a very flexible position in home health care- you make your own schedule as far as when you start and end. In addition, we will entertain full-time or part-time Physical Therapists for this position. The pay and benefits for this Physical Therapy position are very generous. A Physical Therapist with only one year experience in any seting will make 105,000/yr and a more experienced Physical Therapist will make up to 128,000. This Physical Therapist (PT) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients. Each visit takes about 30 minutes of direct patient care time (could take more or less though depending on what is going on with the patient) and with travel you can get each visit done in an hour, give or take, however you are only required to see 4-6 patients per day for full-time. The Physical Therapist is NOT required to have home health experience-- we will accept Physical Therapists with a year of experience with adults or geriatrics (a year of licensed experience) in any of the following settings: skilled nursing facility SNF, rehab center, healthcare center, outpatient, inpatient assisted living facility ALF, homecare / home health, adult daycare center, or hospital. This Physical Therapy position is with a homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. HIGH PAY: The Physical Therapist would make the high rates that a full-time therapist makes being paid per visit. The Physical Therapist would make between 105,000 and 128,000 per year depending on experience (The lowest rate is $67.73 per visit x 30 visits per week = 105,000) and the rate goes up with experience so that a very experienced pt could make up to 128,000 per year ($82.24 per visit x 30 visits per week = 128,000 per year). In addition, each visit takes about a half hour, so it is possible with travel and paperwork to get a visit done in an hour or less. Plus, the physical therapist gets paid more for evaluations, etc. Here are the list of prices the therapist is paid per visit: Follow Up Visit $67.73 - $82.24 per visit (Which are on average 1/2 Hour direct patient care time but could be more or less depending on the situation) With travel and paper ends up taking about 1 hour. HOME HEALTH CARE PT JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Physical Therapist must have a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. The Physical Therapist must have a license to practice Physical Therapy in the state. The Physical Therapist MUST either be a US Citizen or have your green card- no exceptions. The Physical Therapist is NOT required to have home health experience-- we will accept Physical Therapists with a year of experience with adults or geriatrics (a year of licensed experience) in any of the following settings: skilled nursing facility SNF, rehab center, healthcare center, outpatient, inpatient assisted living facility ALF, homecare / home health, adult daycare center, or hospital.
