Pitt County Memorial Hospital, located in Greenville NC is an 861-bed Level I trauma center, regional referral hospital and is the flagship hospital for University Health Systems of Eastern Carolina. Physical Therapist/Inpatient Rehabilitation

Our 75-bed inpatient rehabilitation center is the only rehabilitation center in eastern NC with specialty units for General Rehab, Pediatrics, Brain Injury, Neuro and Spinal Cord Injury. We also have comprehensive rehab programs serving patients recovering from stroke, orthopedic conditions, amputation and other debilitating conditions. We are the area's leading rehab training facility for medical, allied health and nursing students, and one of a few medical rehab centers with 10 CARF accredited programs.

Physical Therapist/Acute Rehab Services

Physical Therapy offers inpatient acute services to Cardiac, Trauma, Neurology, Medical, Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedics and Stroke Center patients as well as to our Regional Rehabilitation Center Inpatients. In addition to our intensive care units, we have the following new opportunities available: new vent weaning unit, state-of-the-art East Carolina Heart Institute, new orthopedics unit and expansion of our joint program, expansion of our neurospine program.
